The Apple AirTag is the easiest way to keep track of your keys, bag, wallet, luggage or bike with your iPhone. Attach it, set it up with one tap, and see where it is in the Find My app. This is the genuine Apple AirTag model A2187, 1 pack, with a 1 year Apple Care warranty, sold by My Memory Store with islandwide delivery across Sri Lanka.
Apple AirTag setup in one tap
Pull the tab to start the battery, hold the AirTag close to your iPhone and tap Connect. It is added to the Find My app under your Apple Account in seconds, and you can name it – Keys, Bag, Scooter – so you always know which item is which.
Precision Finding shows you exactly where it is
AirTag has an Apple Ultra Wideband chip. With an iPhone 11 or later, Precision Finding guides you with an arrow, the distance and haptic feedback on screen, so you can walk straight to the sofa cushion or car seat your keys slipped under. Older iPhones can still find it by playing a sound.
The Find My network finds it far away
When your AirTag is out of Bluetooth range, nearby iPhones, iPads and Macs in the Find My network can securely pick up its signal and send its location back to you. This is useful for a bag left in a three-wheeler, a bus or a restaurant, and for checked luggage when you travel. Location updates depend on Apple devices being nearby.
Lost Mode and a built-in speaker
Turn on Lost Mode in Find My and you get a notification when the AirTag is detected. Anyone who finds it can tap it with an iPhone or NFC Android phone to see your contact number. Up close, play a sound through the built-in speaker to find it in a drawer or bag.
Private and secure by design
Location data is end-to-end encrypted, and neither Apple nor anyone else can see where your AirTag is. AirTag is built to track items, not people. If an unknown AirTag travels with someone, their iPhone alerts them, and Android phones can also detect unknown trackers.
Water resistant with a battery that lasts more than a year
AirTag is IP67 rated against water and dust, so rain and splashes are fine. It uses a standard CR2032 coin battery that lasts more than a year and you can replace it yourself in seconds – your iPhone tells you when it is running low.
Apple AirTag A2187 or AirTag 2nd generation?
Apple released a second generation AirTag in 2026 with a longer Precision Finding range and a louder speaker. The A2187 is the original AirTag. It uses the same Find My network, the same app and the same design, and it is the better value choice when you want reliable item tracking at a lower price.
Things to know before you buy
- An iPhone or iPad with an Apple Account is needed to set it up. It cannot be set up with an Android phone.
- There is no hole for a key ring – use an AirTag key ring, holder or case to attach it to keys or bags (sold separately).
