After Sales Service and Warranty
Every product sold by MY MEMORY is covered by a warranty against manufacturing defects. This page explains what the warranty covers and how to make a claim.
Warranty period
Warranty periods differ by product and brand. The period that applies to an item is shown on its product page and on your invoice. Keep the invoice, as it is required for any claim.
What the warranty covers
- Manufacturing defects
- Faults that appear under normal use within the warranty period
What the warranty does not cover
- Physical damage, cracks, dents or bent connectors
- Liquid damage
- Repairs or modifications carried out by anyone other than us or the brand service centre
- Normal wear and tear, including battery ageing and cables fraying with use
- Damage caused by incorrect use, unsuitable chargers or power fluctuations
- Items without the original invoice or proof of purchase
How to make a claim
- Contact us on +94 777 57 46 43 or mymemorygalle@gmail.com with your order number and a description of the fault.
- We confirm whether the item is within warranty and tell you where to send it.
- Send the item with the original invoice and, where possible, the original packaging and accessories.
- We inspect the item and, depending on the fault and the brand process, repair or replace it.
Shipping costs
Shipping costs for warranty claims are paid by the customer in both directions, sending the item to us and receiving it back. If you are near Galle you can bring the item to our showroom instead, at no cost.
How long it takes
Turnaround depends on the brand and the nature of the fault. We tell you the expected timeline once we receive the item, and keep you updated until it is resolved.
